Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Dagoo ("we", "us") handles information in connection with the ShotCapsule mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to this Policy.

The short version

ShotCapsule is built to clean your screenshots entirely on your device. We do not operate servers that collect your photos, and we do not upload, sell, or share your screenshots or personal data. There are no user accounts.

1. Information we do not collect

• We do not upload your photos, screenshots, or their contents to any server.
• We do not collect your name, email, contacts, or location.
• We do not require you to create an account.

2. Information processed on your device

To help you clean screenshots, the App accesses your photo library locally and processes the following only on your iPhone/iPad:

• Screenshot metadata — creation date and file size, used to group screenshots by month and estimate space you can free.
• Image content — analyzed locally to detect near-duplicate screenshots. This analysis never leaves your device.
• Local app data — thumbnails, computed image signatures, your settings, and review progress are cached on your device to make the App faster. This data is removed if you delete the App.

3. Permissions we request

• Photos (read/write) — required to find your screenshots and, when you choose, to delete them. Deletions use Apple's Photos system; deleted items go to your "Recently Deleted" album per iOS and can be recovered there for about 30 days.
• Notifications (optional) — if you enable Reminders, we schedule local notifications on your device. No notification data is sent to us.

You can change or revoke these permissions anytime in iOS Settings.

4. Purchases

ShotCapsule offers an optional paid upgrade ("Pro") via Apple In-App Purchase. All payments are processed by Apple; we do not receive or store your payment-card details. Apple's handling of your purchase is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

5. Third-party services

The only third party involved is Apple (App Store and StoreKit, for downloads and purchases). The App contains no third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.

6. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country) and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

7. Your rights

Because we do not collect or store your personal data on any server, there is no account or remote data to access, correct, or delete. To remove all local data, simply delete the App.

8. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
